Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support in market analysis to identify business opportunities with prospect clients or room to grow with existing ones supporting sales

Skills required:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Cosmetics or related field.
  • 3-5+ Years related experience working in marketing or sales in cosmetic contract manufacturing, preferably makeup
  • IT knowledge: Very good knowledge of the Office package and management systems, especially creating presentation materials

Chief Operating Officer

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope of job

  • To plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, Quality, Supply Chain) and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
  • To drive globally Procurement and Industrialization functions.
  • To ensure the direction and control of all business activities in the industrial field and to ensure the profitability of operations.

  • To be member of the Chromavis Management Committee as a referent for all industrial and product related issues, for production sites and compliance with defined quality and safety standards. To take part to the Operation Fareva Network.

 

Planning and strategies

  • To formulate and to implement plans and strategies to optimize operation to make the company's business profitable. To set short, medium and long-term objectives to the operations structures and to ensure the success of the company.
  • To define in accordance with the general objectives, the policy of all operations and to provide guidelines for their application in the Group's business processes.

Organization management

  • To ensure that the documentation is consistent with the nature and function of the RM and to request additional information if necessary
  • To evaluate the regulatory status of substances internationally
  • To determine the status of RM in COPTIS and to change this status according to the regulations

R&D Packaging Expert Manager

The ideal candidate will ensure packaging development from brief to production from a technical perspective on customers & internal briefs.

Reporting to R&D Director he/she will be accountable for the following:

  • To request technical data to suppliers & additional samples to ensure trials & development to be done on time
  • To evaluate & to approve packaging technical data from suppliers
  • To check and to validate artwork (technical draw).
  • To participate to innovation packaging development with Procurement & Marketing
  • To meet suppliers and to participate to source new packaging by providing technical data expectations.
  • To provide packaging technical support to R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Industrialization
  • To test new packaging items
  • To evaluate new development feasibility & to provide risk assessment
  • To analyze compatibility between materials of packaging and raw materials of formula.

Skills required:

  • High School Diploma as a minimum. Packaging Master Degree Preferably
  • Fluent in English is an essential requisite, French or another foreign language are a plus
  • Two to three years of experience in packaging development position in Cosmetic industry, or Packaging industry, or Food industry
  • IT knowledge: Very good knowledge of the Office package (Excel and project management tools

R&D FORMULATION CONCEPTOR - POWDERS

Contratto: Full Time

The ideal candidate will be responsible to make formulation trials, to develop cosmetic products – specifically Powders - at laboratory scale, to propose & create new formulas, new concepts. He/she will answer to customer briefs (internal / external) respecting leadtimes & costs, ensuring technical watch.

Based at our Headquarter in Offanengo (CR), he/she will report to the R&D Formulation Manager and will be accountable for the following:

  • To propose and develop new formulas (textures and shades) and to participate to improvement of existing range of products: to make lab trials, to create and define formulas to answer brief by considering regulatory constraints & updates, industrial constraints as well as technology updates (new raw materials...) and insuring stability compliance.
  • To read & interpret INCI and to formulate accordingly within LEAN approach.
  • To perform color matching trials
  • To communicate with Raw Materials suppliers to ensure availability of raw materials to perform his/her development trials. To get in contact with Raw Materials suppliers for identifying, selecting and trying new raw materials; to manage Raw Materials shortage proposing and testing their replacement / substitution.
  • To study new launches and R&D technical watch (new concepts, new ingredients, new textures...)
  • To propose and develop technical improvements; to propose innovative concepts or formulas to Marketing & R&D.
  • To analyze and optimize existing formulas; to evaluate and characterize quality of the products: sensory analysis, physico-chemical analysis (pH, viscosity, density, rheology...). According to results, to investigate, analyze, correct, adapt and propose solutions until reaching the target.
  • To provide technical support writing Product Technical Data Sheet, technical reports and to present them to project team
  • To propose and carry out experiment plans.
  • To cooperate for Technical Transfer:  to anticipate and check industrial feasibility during formula development, to assist in the resolution of manufacturing issues as applicable and support Industrialization & Production as applicable for formula issues during Production phase

Skills required:

  • Bachelor Degree as a minimum in scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology etc)
  • More than 7 year experience in powders formulation
  • Knowledge of Chemical Lab analysis:  physico-chemical analysis, stability, sensory analysis etc, and Regulatory
  • Good knowledge of English: French will be a plus
  • IT knowledge: strong knowledge of the Office package and main IT systems for Lab (e.g.  (COPTIS)

QUOTATION & COSTING INTERNSHIP

Part of the Quotation & Costing Department the ideal candidate will support the Quotation & Costing Manager with a focus on the improvement and use of pricing tool related to company ERP.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • To provide preliminary costing
  • To check production validity with detail cost with PM
  • To provide cost after project (detail price building and stats with tracking file)
  • To build pricing tool (Nail, Aerosol, New technologies) & update data
  • To support improving cost process

Skills required:

  • Preferably degree in Economics, Information Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Different type and level of education will be evaluated

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making formulation trials, measuring physic-chemical parameters, and for developing cosmetic products at laboratory scale, answering customer briefs (internal and external) and respecting lead-times & costs.

Reporting to the R&D Formulation Manager in charge for the product area Anhydrous / Emulsions, the job holder will be accountable for:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • To develop new formulas (all galenics, textures and shades) and to participate in improvement of existing range of products: to make new lab trials, to make substitution lab trials to improve standard portfolio;
  • To perform color matching trials
  • To accurately perform each step of an established protocol
  • To execute under supervision development of formulation trials during development phase
  • To communicate with Raw Materials suppliers for any samples and data requests to ensure availability of raw materials to perform development trials.
  • Under supervision, to evaluate and characterize quality of the products: sensory analysis, physic-chemical analysis (pH, viscosity, density, rheology...);
  • Under supervision to set up and to prepare stability tests to perform;
  • To record data by using efficiently IT tools to ensure traceability & accuracy of all lab trials (formulas, process, comments, stability, raw materials data ...)
  • To respect lead times of development planning

Skills required:

  • Batchelor or master’s degree in a scientific discipline; different or a lower level of education will be evaluated according to a real and proven working experience in a similar role
  • 3-5 years of experience in formulation preferably in a cosmetic company;
  • Knowledge of English will be a preferential requisite

MAINTENANCE OPERATOR

Il/la candidato/a ideale avrà il compito di eseguire interventi di manutenzione su impianti e meccanici, effettuare le regolazioni e le messe a punto per assicurarne il corretto funzionamento.

Riportando gerarchicamente al Maintenance Manager il/la candidato/a avrà la responsabilità di:

  • Effettuare tramite l’ausilio della strumentazione necessaria i test diagnostici che permettono di valutare lo stato operativo della macchina o dell’impianto.
  • Organizzare le diverse fasi di lavoro e la relativa ottimizzazione in collaborazione con le altre aree del team Engineering & Security
  • Comprendere gli schemi meccanici per gestire il funzionamento dei diversi macchinari
  • Riconoscere le principali anomalie meccaniche dei macchinari e degli impianti e valutarne lo stato di salute.
  • Eseguire fermi macchina per permettere interventi meccanici/elettrici di varia complessità e revisioni complete
  • Assistere gli operatori di macchina nella messa a punto meccanica di macchinari e impianti.
  • Aggiornare puntualmente il libretto di manutenzione e le schede tecniche di macchinari ed impianti

Competenze richieste:

  • Diploma di Scuola Media Superiore a indirizzo tecnico; titoli di studio inferiori dovranno essere corredati da esperienza pluriennale nel ruolo
  • Esperienza di almeno 8-10 anni in analoga mansione con provenienza dai settori cosmetico, alimentare, farmaceutico, chimico, elettronico - costruzione macchine automatiche.

Packaging NPD (New Project Development) Coordinator

The ideal candidate will be the main contact for Packaging Innovation, will be responsible for managing the Packaging NPD team and for leading the complete flow of Internal Brief from sourcing to order management.

Reporting to Procurement Manager he/she will be accountable for the following:

  • To support the Packaging NPD team in sourcing and negotiations of primary and secondary packaging for external brief, coming from a customer’s project, based on Sales request, in compliance with cost / quality / timing
  • To support Marketing team in creating and updating “ready to go” packaging proposals
  • To be the owner of the Packaging Innovation leading internal (Marketing / R&D) and external meeting (suppliers and customers)
  • To source packaging for internal brief (marketing collections) and to negotiate the cost of the packaging with suppliers and to manage the order and delivery
  • To be involved in the Supplier Evaluation process regarding technical/commercial relations and Innovation process
